Red Horizon Events Pty Ltd is a full-service event management company with offices in Perth and Brisbane. Our aim is to provide top quality expertise and focused resources for the effective management of business conventions, conferences and special events in Perth, Brisbane and throughout Australia.
Red Horizon Events brings together all the elements required to deliver a successful business event end to end, including; project management and planning, marketing and promotion, sponsorship strategy and development, venue sourcing and management, logistics, delegate and speaker management, audio/visual, registration and database management, budgets, finances, evaluation and reporting.
The company was formed out of a partnership between Jan Bryson and Rebecca Taplin. Both partners have been in the IT Industry for over 15 years and have developed a passion and enthusiasm for Event Management managing a number of large scale special events over the past 6 years.
Jan Bryson - Director, Perth
Jan Bryson is a qualified Project Manager holding a Project Management Professional (PMP) qualification from the Project Management Institute (PMI). She is also the Secretary on the PMI Board of Directors in WA. PMI is a US based qualification applicable globally and represented in all countries including WA. Jan has a depth of expertise in the management of many different types of projects requiring strong customer focus, high levels of creativity and exceptional people management skills. She has worked in various roles in both the Finance and IT Industries.
Rebecca Taplin - Director, Brisbane
Rebecca has worked in the IT Industry in both Sales, Marketing and Business Development roles for the past 15 years. She has strong expertise in business development strategy and the creation and execution of marketing programs across a number of different industry sectors. Rebecca Taplin holds both a Masters in Business and a Post Grad Marketing degree from Edith Cowan University (WA) and graduated as the top MBA graduate for her year. Rebecca is also an active member for the Meeting and Events Association (MEA)
