2008 WINTER CEILIDH - 9TH AUGUST 2008
The ‘2008 Winter Ceilidh’ is being run to help raise funds for Lifeline in this time of increasing need of such services. It is a formal dinner dance event and will provide you the opportunity to experience and participate in a ‘Scottish dancing extravaganza’! On show there will be a ceilidh band, a WA Police Pipe Band performance and some other dancing and musical talents! Adding some flair to the evening will be our MC Gerry Gannon who will add his unique celtic wit and charm to the scene.
Don’t worry about your Scottish dancing techniques.......guidance will be provided during the evening!

Founded in 1963, the late Reverend Dr Sir Alan Walker launched a crisis line in Sydney, determined not to let loneliness, isolation or anxiety be the cause of death. Today, somewhere in Australia, there is a new call to Lifeline every minute, an average of over 450,000 calls are answered each year and they have developed a number of programs to promote mental health, wellbeing and help seeking behaviours.
